I'm a physician in NYC. It has its ups and downs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think CouchSurfing is such a great, feel-good, connect-to-people idea. It's such a warm community, and it really relies on the innate goodness of people.

My friends have said many great things about it, how open and friendly the hosts are, so I believe I will have a great experience.

When I am settled into an apartment, I would be happy to host travelers and show them around New York City!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it! It's kind of thrilling to just meet strangers and connect on the whole travel-bug-level. I've only surfed so far and would totally do it again. I'm looking forward to hosting too.

Interests

I love beautiful, fantastical things. Yoshitaka Amano art, Miyazaki movies, origami, Final Fantasy series...

I also really like Volkswagen vans for no particular reason. Not just the cute rounded square ones of the 60s, but the clunky and awkward box ones too.
