About Me

CURRENT MISSION

An it harm none, do what thou wilt!

ABOUT ME

We are couple of vegans; hiking biking metal punx!

Harri is a math and philosophy teacher and Heidi is a freelancer artist.

We've both done quite a lot different voluntary work in environmental groups and we do music playing in band(s), so both, activism and music, are our very central interests!

PHILOSOPHY

Not fitting under any particular "ism" but respect for nature in general, biological and cultural diversity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience was in April/May 2010 when we were interrailing few weeks in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands and Denmark. Met few really nice people surfing and definitely enjoyed the experience!

At June 2011 we spent a week in London surfing on few different couches (and we also had a one night trip to Brighton and met nice CS related people there too!), also we hosted our first guest quickly after coming back from there: very nice experience too!

May 2013: Copenhagen (Heavy Days in Doomtown festival) - made good friends with our host and been visiting the city continuously after that!

Been also hosting several guest during the years in CS: from USA, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Brazil, Czech Republic...

Interests

Good music: Heavy, rock and metal - doom, sludge, drone, HC, crust, grind, death black, thrash... metal/punk. Records and gigs.

Forest conservation and animal rights.

DIY.

Going all around and looking for places with bikes and by walking. Outdoors.

Good beer and teas.

Different kind of sports.

Culture in many forms: history and present, interesting places and stories, myths, art in general.
