Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Follow the dreamer.

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Berry. I enjoy life, most of the time. To quote one of my favorite bands the Cat Empire: "Have you ever been so glad, that you're happy that you're sad?"
Like that, life is beautiful because of its ups /and/ its downs. Also, the downs can be the most learning experiences of your life, when everything falls apart and you have to reconstruct your Self afterwards ^_^
Anything doing is worth doing well. I'm enthusiastic about things that excite me and _always_ want to meet new, interesting characters! New, interesting characters includes animals and plants by the way. And sometimes rocks and a stream as well ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

That this life is all one. Everything is interrelated, interconnected and stemming from the same source. You could imagine my umbilical cord being stuck to Mother Earth.

And then, in astropichraniolgocal order: Be nice. Be positive. Smile!. Give hugs. Laugh. Go and do it! Make people laugh. Believe in weird things like telepathy. Whistle a happy tune. Compliment instead of gossip. Enjoy the sun. Stay out of Dogma. Don't dominate but liberate. Joke. Connect with nature in such a way you can hear it breathe and whisper (put your ear to the ground). Inform yourself through any means possible. You live you learn. Give, give, give and expect nothing back. Remove borders between genders-sexual preference-race-species-origin-individual. Rebel and last but not least: stand up for your own and others' rights and beliefs.

High on Life!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted quite a lot of people. I share this website with anyone that wants to hear. We try and host as much people as we can in our squat we have called "the Couch". Right now I'm traveling the world and am couchsurfing all over the place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a lot of places, and found that I like it as much as I do hosting people! (big surprise there) I have also surfed people's backyard, roof, beach, grass, bridge, shed, and twoperson bed (Yay falling head over heels into Love! ^_^). Generally I prefer to Cover with the Moon (sleep outside).

Intereses

LIFE!
Traveling and learning.
Permaculture! Firetwirling. Talking politics/philosophy/evolution/consciousness. Firebreathing. Hammocks. Barefeet life. Barefeet running with eyes closed! Food from a close source (experimenting with raw veganism). Dancing 'till you drop. Writing down thoughts and forgetting where you put the paper. Activism. Watching leaves unfold from seeds. Meeting new, beautiful and interesting organisms (plants, humans and other animals ^_^). Exploring my Self through a large scale of different ways, different states of Consciousness such as mediation, dancing, drumming, sensory deprivation, fasting, being ´alone´ in nature, psychedelics/entheogens, sweat huts and all of that malarkey. Sustainable Living. Squatting the world. Taking my 'Self' more serious than my ego. Documentaries. Traveling. Hitchhiking. Grass roots movements. Dumpster Diving. Music. Podcasts. Urban exploring. Climbing things. Climbing Trees. Reading lots of varieties of books. Finding thoughts scribbled on scraps of paper in far-away pockets. The Internet! Burning Man! And so much more I am forgetting about now.

Main occupation: Staying in The Now and unfolding into this reality that All-is-One.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have found myself pondering over this one option for far too long. I have too many great memories and like mosts things in life, I do not want to rate them because that would mean I value some memories over others.
I rarely think in terms of transactions, so here it is: I choose to not fill in this part of the form! ^_^

Enseña, aprende, comparte

One thing I share with everyone:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aySqymiraBA

I have done tripsitting for people. Which is me sitting by whilst other people go through difficult psychedelic experiences. Even if you have never done this before I can share what I know of the subject. I consider myself a psychonaut!
I can teach anyone to firebreathe in one day.
I can teach you to skin a rabbit or chicken, should you be willing :)
I can introduce you to Permaculture, a way of designing a world in which the human species lives in balance with the Earth. Rather than destroying the whole lot.
I can also teach most people Poi and Staff twirling, just need some more time.
I can tell you all I know about squatting in about 2 hours. See it as a crash-course in getting a cheap and autonomous living.
I can try and infect you with my anti-capitalist/anarchistic ideology, should you be interested to catch that particular thought-virus :)
I can share with you my library of digital books on a range of subjects that is so large that it would never fit in this box.
