ABOUT ME

I like to think that I am a down to earth person, who is a modest and hard working person. I rate my family and friends as the most important things in my life. I believe in self-respect in yourself and in others around you. I also believe it is to hard to write about yourself in these things - I know that is a weak excuse in writing more about myself, but I need to be experinced to be understood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm new to CS, as I'm going to be traveling around Europe from the middle of May, the way I would like to participate in the CS project would be to couch surf on peoples couches in Europe or around the areas I will be traveling in, if that is possible ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of the most memorable couch surfing experinces that I have had was about 12 years ago, when I was in my early teens, and I was over at my friends house and we watched a Jim Carey film then went outside the house walked for ages (this in the country, on a warm night) had an old air rifle and were firing into some old target - and the three of us were talking about random thoughts about people in life. Been so young and naive none of us realized where or what journey life would takes us. Saw my first shooting star - and we talked until late in the night, no drinking or anything like that, just enjoying each others company.

I'm interested in traveling, art, coffee, music, books, keeping fit (bike riding) history, football, enjoying other people's company, life.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as movies go that is to hard but here is a few - the big lebowski, raging bull, goodfellas, shawshank redemption, 8 and a half, ghost dog, le samouri, l' eclipse, 2001, rear window and the list goes on and on.
Books - the outsider, anything by Charles Bukowski, metaphorsis, to kil a mocking bird.
As far as music goes again that is to hard have a lot of different tastes from Radiohead, Johny Cash, The National, Daftpunk, Wilco, Gram Parsons, Hank Williams, Buena Vista Social Club, Miles Davis, Beattles, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Joy Divison, Kraftwerk, Beethoven and on and on... =) love my music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Look there is the obvious which is going to the beach near Phi Phi island - and Patong beach.
Seen baby penguins on Kangaroo island.
But I guess one of the most amazing thing I have done in recent times which may sound stupid to people is making a series of mistakes and admitting to myself that I was wrong.

I think listening to what other people have to say is very important. Learning to have self-respect for yourself and others. Enjoying life.
