About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Couchsurf with Noel Fielding

ABOUT ME

I am a keen reader/writer/dancer/procrastinator/walker/conversationalist with a love for travel. I am queer! :)

I just arrived in Seville and I'm looking forward to starting to host people again!

PHILOSOPHY

"Of Visitors--the fairest--
For Occupation--This--
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
To gather Paradise--"
-Emily Dickinson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed quite a bit, and hosted when possible. Between tiny houses, reluctant housemates, and moving a minimum of three times a year every year it's a bit of a struggle hosting regularly, but I do when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive! I have made so many lasting friendships from Couchsurfing! I still email the friends of one of my hosts from four years ago, and consider her a valuable and wonderful friend. I met her twice! I am a huge believer in how you can often run into people very briefly, find them amazing, and then make an effort to keep in contact in some capacity and it will pay off. Relationships with people that you care about are so beautiful, and they can very easily be founded on a few meetings, or a couple of days. I think that's one of the most valuable parts of couchsurfing for me, not only are some amazing people in my life in my life only because of this website, but the very point of this site is that kind of connection.

Interests

Parties and having a lot of fun, roaming aimlessly, literature, every sort of dance, writing, eating delicious food, conversations that last for hours, walking and walking, arguing about art and food and places, falling asleep under the stars, Classics, words, cafes, love, the world, all of the things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anna Karenina, Revolutionary Road, Middlesex, Lolita, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Nose, The Awakening, Ariel, Long Division, White Teeth, Half of a Yellow Sun, all of Dickinson.

Also if you love The Mighty Boosh, Arrested Development, IT Crowd, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Community, The Office, 30 Rock, or Black Books we will probably get along.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in Lebanon recently with Syrian refugees in the informal settlements. It was challenging but so rewarding. I hope to continue this in the future!

Speak in a beautiful and attractive Aussie strine
Contact improv (the world must catch on to how great this is!)

I am always keen to learn:
Anything about language ever
Any dance style
Any musical instrument
Anything interesting about life//your childhood/your country/your beliefs/you

What I Can Share with Hosts
