About Me

CURRENT MISSION

scientific excellence

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and I love to meet new people. Writing and dancing to me are like breathing. And I like to enjoy a good meal, a sip of wine or whiskey, a good cigar, a moment of silence and another moment of pure adrenalin and excitement.

I like to think of myself of having a thousand different sides to my personality and I like to explore them all :)

PHILOSOPHY

Keep the feet on the ground and use your arms to reach for the stars. I am trying to make the best of things, to live the moment, test my boundaries as high as the sky allows me to fly and still enjoy the little things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a part of Couchsurfing ever since my world journey in 2010. I have come to know Couchsurfing as a source of meeting great people all over the world, whether for a chat, a journey or a place to crash. I have courchsurfed all over the world and not once had a bad experience. And I myself have had the pleasure of hosting some lovely people and showing them around the place I lived. And even if I cannot host someone I am always good for a talk and a walk ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to Montreal with a friend of mine using couchsurfing and ending up at an all men apartment which turned out to be big fun. After that I couchsurfed my way around the world - in Boston, Chicago, New York, San Diego, Sydney, Warsaw, Krakow and Aberdeen.

Politics, traveling, reading, writing.
Dancing, running, ice hockey, kick boxing, swimming, climbing, flying (I did skydiving before and I am looking for an opportunity to bungee jump :D)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving. I did it a few weeks before my A-Levels, thinking: dying after I did them is just stupid, so I jump before knowing if I survived that I can also do my A-Levels :D
Interail. A ticket for Europe and you can take any train you like. I did this two years ago with my best friend and it was an amazing journey from Firenze to Paris to Barcelona to Madrid and to Lissabon.

Teach, Learn, Share

What would you guess... who is the biggest employer of the world?

Mc Donanld? General Motors? Woolmart?

No... believe it or not it is the Chinese Army. Second, by the way, is the Indian Trailway, third Woolmart and Fourth the British Health System - I do not know the numbers of the first three but the BHS employes over 1,7 Million people... start calculating how many people work in the Chinese Army :)
