About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working in Barcelona and living on a boat for the summer. Have some extra room and always love to meet new backpackers.

ABOUT ME

Currently living in the "suburbs" of Hangzhou, China. I hosted a lot of people while living in Barcelona and wouldn't mind hosting again, though there don't seem to be as many CSers here.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a ton of people when I lived in Barcelona but have yet to crash on anyone's couch. Currently living in China and am willing to host again.

Interests

My biggest passion is travelling. I have been lucky enough to be able to do quite a bit already. I enjoy outdoor activities as well as socializing with interesting people

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music.

Absolutely love reading.

The Great Gastby is by far my favourite book (right after the Dune series, yes I used to be quite the nerd :P). As far as modern authors, Hunter S. Thompson (rip) and Bret Easton Ellis would be a few of my favourites.

Big fan of movies that make me think or feel. Hate horror movies and superficial action movies (Megan Fox... eww).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 8 months backpacking on my own. My favourite countries were NZ and Bolivia.
In NZ I did a 150km down river kayak trip on my own (5days) it was absolutely the most amazing experience of my life. The first day I travelled 35km down the river and didn't see a single person or sign of civilization.

Bolivia to me is one of the most underappreciated destinations in South America. The indigenous culture is interesting, and the Salar de Uyuni is a must see. Unfortunately I didn´t have time to leave the alta plana. Next time I hope!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Fiji, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Egypt, France, Iraq, Ireland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
