ABOUT ME

My name is Michele but my friends call me "Mitch" or "Miki". I live in a small city in the east central Italy the name is Ravenna. I live with my parents and two dogs "Mimì" and "Pepè".
I'm an open mind and nice person, I like to do a lot of things and I do a lot of things, my friends tell me that my day is with 36 hours not 24, because my friends don't understand how I can do so a lot of those things (the secret is to plan the day, I told them ^_^). I'm a dreamer but I try to realize my dreams. I don't smoke and I'm clean.
I study archaeology and I work like a travel consultant for a company.
I like to play skateboard, snowboard, archery, dodgeball (I have a team in Ravenna), football (sometimes with my university friends), and I like to try another sports.
I do a lot of trekking and some survival course (my father is a survival teacher), and I like to try another extreme experiance like skydiving and paragliding.
I play a guitar and ukulele and I have an acoustic duo with my brother where I sing and I play a guitar.
My family are my father Fabio, that is a survival teacher; my mother Laura that she is a chef and my Brother Mirco that he is a musician, he study in the music academy in Milan.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't care where I will go, the important thing is to travel and meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love couchsurfing and I love to exchange opinions, life styles, cultures and informations.
Couchsurfing for me is a way to meet and know one country before to go there, and is a way to show my country culture: tipical food, things an night life a my guest.
When I travel I respect my host and when somebody host me I like to spend a time with my host becouse from them I can learn a lot of thing about the country ^_^
When I host and I have a freetime i love to spend a time with my guest to know them and know their culture, and show mine.

Interesses

My first interest is to travel the world for me is like a drug. My biggest dream is to see one city, to meet one person, and to do one experiance in every country in this world.
Another interests are skateboard, snoboard, dodgeball, play my guitar and ukulele and sing my songs. To study the lost civilizations and to discover the new civilization around this world. I like to cook the ancient food and the normal food.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: I'm a little bit musician and I like to listen every kind of music to increase my knowledge and my skills. Usually in my life the music change when change my mood and feelings. So depends.
But my favorite kind of music is the Rock, Punk, Rock and Roll.
I like to dance Rock and Roll and Celtic Rock.

Book: I read a lot for the University but sometimes when I have a time I like to read some Tourist Guide Book (yes is crazy but for me the travel is a drug), I like to read some adventures and experiances travel book, and historical and fantasy books.

Movie: I like to watch a lot of differents kinds of movie, but I prefer to watch the comedies and the adventures and fantasy movie.

I saw the desert in the sunset while I rode a camel in Morocco.
I teached Italian and I told my travel story in a highschool classroom in Japan.
I found a beautiful Roman relief in an archaeological excavation in Albany.
During a trek I found myself face to face with a naked man in Malta.
etc. etc.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I would like to learn a little bit the languages where I will go, to learn to cook one tipical food and to know the different life style.
I can teach my language "italian", and I can teach to cook a tipical food from my region.
I would like to share the differents travel and life experiances and to take and give some suggests.
