I'm particularly interested in learning new languages and experience new cultures. When I explore a new place, I usually don't go without my camera. So I've been taking some 20,000 pics over the last year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting people from different backgrounds, exchange stories and learn about new things. I'm also really interested in hearing people's stories about building a life in a new country or starting their own business etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent New Years in Sydney and it was amazing. Seeing the fireworks right over the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. People'd been camping out there all day and I don't know how I got so lucky to still get in as I just showed up at 11pm. The atmosphere was incredible and, being from Europe, it was also a totally new experience to spend New Years outside without freezing to death. It really was a special night which ended with watching the sun rise, sitting right in front of the Opera House.
