Hi there, I am Joanne - In a nutshell: eager to see the world, learn new languages and meet fantastic people.

I've travelled a lot in the last year and learned to become very uncomplicated and able to adapt to almost every situation very easily.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted a few people and surfed on a few couches. I worked for Airbnb for a while so I used their page much more in the last two year but now that I left my position, would I love to couch-surf more again :)

Interests

I love being outdoors and hike and surf a lot. I am also very keen on tag rugby!

Music - I enjoy rock music and love to go to gigs, open mic nights and festivals

Pubs - I rather stay in pubs, have some drinks and chat with nice people than go into clubs but sometimes they're fun as well

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fantastic things happen every day and it is hard to pin it down to one, so here a small selection:

- one of the best feelings to me is when you stand up surfing on an unbroken wave
- breaking into an abandoned hopital -ohh the thrill!!
- swimming around beautiful reefs and manta rays

Teach, Learn, Share

I always love to share a good conversation over a coffee or pint or during a hike.

At the moment I am really all about sports and try to surf whenever I can. I could offer a surf lesson but am also happy to get more advise about my stands or how to reave swell tables.

I also make a really good breakfast porridge. Really. It's such a great start in the day!
