CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet new people, and help them to enjoy my city to the fullest, and make new friends I would also like to be able to travel to different areas, and meet friends and locals who will help me feel more of a connection with the places I visit.

ABOUT ME

I own my own home in Athens, GA and have plenty of room for surfers! I have a lovely yard with a deck and flower garden, that I love to have visitors enjoy with me. I have been living here in Athens, GA for 13 years. It is a very fun vibrant city, lots of great places to eat, walk listen to music. I would love to show you around! I have a dog, Buster, very cute and friendly. I have a 27 year old son, who also lives in town.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that a positive attitude and determination and friendship and love will make us happy and successful. I try to stay positive, be empathetic, but encouraging to others, and open to the possibilities of the universe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate is a couch surfer, and we have hosted several people though her. As I would like to travel myself, I thought it was past time for me to sign up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had really nice guys stay with us. Some who we went out with and cooked for....others just passing through needing a place. I know other couch surfers in my town, young and old, all great people!
I have met a couple of couch surfers in my travels, and have really enjoyed the connections

Interests

1, had my amazing son!
2, had the privilege of working with people who are unhappy in their lives and situations, and witnessing and participating in them finding happiness and relief from suffering.
(oh, and 3, I have been in love a few times..pretty amazing!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about other cultures (I teach cultural diversity, so I know how little I know) I think that I am good at feelings and communicating. But, could also teach the basics of tennis and pottery, gardening. If you are en expert, then please teach me these things, I would like to learn to sail, and hope to in Greece this summer.
