About Me

CURRENT MISSION

adapt to whatever life may bring and learn arabic and sailing

ABOUT ME

Constantly learning. I read as much as possible about as much subjects as possible. I have a hard time building myself an opinion on any of those subjects. Can't think in black and white.

I want to travel the whole world. I travel as an inspiration.

I want to study a master's in Sustainable Energy. I like systematic approaches to engineering problems.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a stable home for now. I am not hosting anyone, but I am very open to a cup of tea :) or a beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a bit during my exchange year in France, back in 2009 (quite a long time ago). Had amazing experiences.

Looking for that again with extreme enthousiasm.

Interests

Interests not stated somewhere else in my profile:

I love food! Ha! Dark chocolate. Green tea. Nice french bread. Beer. Wine. Colombian fruit jucies. Food with spices. I don't like dull food.

Dancing, that's when I'm the happiest.

Being in the middle of nature, not being able to see any human construction close is beautiful.

I love deambulating around cities and getting lost.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like movies with a lot of nice music in it, like anything by Kusturica. Dead man by Jim Jarmusch is one of my favs :) I just discovered Bollywood, madre mía, amazing: Dil to pagal hai is for now my absolute (Indian) fav.

My favorite books, difficult task! Books that manage to convey the complexity of humans. Anything by Patrick Chamoiseau, Gora by Tagore, La mansarde de Danilo Kis, Voyage autour de mon crane de Frigyes Karinthy, Rayuela by Cortazar. I've just read all of the above once. I would need various more reads to understand them properly.

I lived in Colombia, so you can't blame me for my current crush on Marc Anthony and anything Salsa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing.

Hitchhiking.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is my favorite thing to do.

Talking to someone is the best way to learn.

I can share my life experiences, I've had a few.

If you're into Spanish or French, my skills can come in handy. If you speak Arabic, I'm interested!

Unless you're Puerto Rican or Cuban or Colombian, I can probably teach you some latin moves. If you're any of the above, you can probably embarass me.

I'd love to share some music time. I adore singing, so if I feel comfortable enough we can sing together :).
