Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

To create a network of travelers and help them save money - www.tyeventures.xyz

ABOUT ME

I am friendly, open-minded and laid-back person. I enjoy new experiences and challenges, and I'm always willing to learn about the cultures of other people. I graduated with a BBA in Economics and International Business from JU where I also rowed in the varsity team.
I am currently traveling the world as a digital nomad building websites and teaching kids languages online.
I love traveling and meeting new people and do it as often as I can (I find it easy to connect with people of other cultures because I have lived in Italy, Mexico, United States, and France).
I am very active and like most sports (mountain biking, cycling, soccer, rowing, baseball, running, tennis, etc...)
I am a huge Apple fan. I own almost all their products so if you have any questions on how to use one of them, just ask me! I'm pretty sure I know more than most 'Apple Specialists' working at the Apple Stores :)

"€œIf everyone is busy making everything, how can anyone perfect anything? We start to confuse convenience with joy, abundance with choice. Designing something requires focus. The first thing we ask: What do we want people to feel? Delight. Surprise. Love. Connection. Then we craft around our intention. It takes time. There are a thousand no's for every yes. We simplify. We perfect. We start over, until everything we touch enhances every life it touches. Only then do we sign our work. -€“ Designed by Apple in California."

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life! I want to have fun for a while before I have to go in to work and sit in my office all day, everyday...Taking this time to learn more languages and travel the world.

FAVORITE TRAVEL QUOTES:

"To travel is to live." - Hans Christian Andersen

"There are several ways to react to being lost. One is to panic. Another is to abandon yourself to lostness, to allow the fact that you'€™ve misplaced yourself to change the way you experience the world." - Audrey Niffenegger

"œBut that'€™s the glory of foreign travel, as far as I am concerned. I don'€™t want to know what people are talking about. I can'€™t think of anything that excites a greater sense of childlike wonder than to be in a country where you are ignorant of almost everything. Suddenly you are five years old again. You can'€™t read anything, you have only the most rudimentary sense of how things work, you can'€™t even reliably cross a street without endangering your life. Your whole existence becomes a series of interesting guesses." - Bill Bryson

"Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things: air, sleep, dreams, sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it." - Cesare Pavese

2011 - CSed through France following the Tour de France. Had great hosts and an awesome time!
2010 - Traveled around France and Spain during May 2010 with my sister. Had many great experiences and from now on will try to CouchSurf as much as I can in order to meet people from different places.
