ABOUT ME

A mutt of the European variety : born and raised in Western Canada (yee haw!) to a French-born mother, of German and Spanish parentage, and a Canadian-born father of English and Welsh parentage.

I am currently residing in France, in the region of Alsace (bordering Germany and German Switzerland) brainstorming ways to form my life around my love of TRAVEL, my love of FOOD (growing, making, sharing and eating it!) as well as my love for PLAYing in the mud (goes quite convenienetly hand in hand with the food growing eh?)

Growing up, I always secretly hoped I'd turn out to be a mermaid. Thanks to a certain Anais Nin, my dream lives on but with a new perspective : "I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in a rural place for the last 2 years, we didn't get many CouchSurfers, at least not through the site. But the 2 groups we did host both turned out to be lovely fellas, and I hope to continue the adventure, whilst sedentary here in Strasbourg, and when I eventually spread my wings towards the infinite sky.

Wild and medicinal plants, cooking (particularly vegetarian and vegan, and of course sweets!), hula-hooping, yoga, crafty DIY, french-speak, english-speak, crochet (I know how to make FLOWERS!), fertility awareness...

LEARNING
I'm open to deepening my current "savoir-faire" as well as to new (and often exciting) things.

Having more or less mastered bilingualism, I'm ready to take on some other languages, particularly Spanish or Italian.
