ABOUT ME

I recently finished a couple years living in L.A. via my last cross country road trip from RI to LA, and am now living and working in Asia for the first time out of Bangkok.

Look out, rest of the world, here I come!

A little about me ...

In short, I'm a rogue IT Professional who started his Digital Nomad lifestyle roaming around the U.S. in a fine Dodge Ram Van.

I love finding potent phrases or lyrics that express personal sentiments in such a poignant way that it render my doing so in my words pointless.

I also love collecting them. This is my favorite at the moment:

I like to think I'm one of those people ...

This, however, is an all-time favorite that resonates strongly with who I am:

I could share many more that I read regularly to keep me focused, but I won't. Instead, I'll finish the section off with my favorite piece prose which satisfies the 'Life Philosophy' part of the section:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being hosted by, and meeting, people all over this country was actually an essential part of my first plan.

I really put this site to the test during my initial nomadic adventure around the country, and was overwhelmed with the response during my first trip.

Since then, I've looked forward to every new host or surfer I meet.

I want to make the most of meeting every person I encounter, sharing stories and experiences with them, learning new things, everything ...

I want to share a slice of my life with my host, go out and see their hometown with them, and hopefully brighten up their lives a bit with my presence.

I certainly aim to give more than I get at all times, but I'll take an even trade =D

But now, I'm read to give back as a host - so let's see those couch requests!

Excellent so far.

I've met many surfers and hosts, and they all have had a positive impact on me.

They have reassured me of the kindness, generosity, and selflessness that can be found in people.

It has given me that much more hope in humankind, and that's more than I could have ever asked for.

Well, I've trained at the best Muay Thai school on US soil for nearly two years and would definitely be more than happy to impart some basic technique.

In addition, I'm quite adept at the philosophy of living Primally (http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/) and would be more than happy to discuss the aspects of exercise, diet, and lifestyle pertaining to it.

I've also been an IT Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst for the past 5+ years.

And I've been playing video games all my life and love getting into discussion about, and playing them, with other enthusiasts.
