About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I enjoy meeting new people...
and making connections...

ABOUT ME

I find myself being interested in a lot of things...I like reading and learning new things...and therefore like to meet new people and hearing about their experiences. I like to think I'm normal, no so many quirks, that is my opinion of myself of course! so you might think otherwise...
I like to think that I'm adventurous. I like to travel whenever I get the chance and can afford it.

PHILOSOPHY

Umm... I don't have a permanent philosophy, I'm always changing my opinion about things in general... which I think is reasonable, because as you grow older (and hopefully wiser) you learn that the world can not be simply understood and things don't always present themselves in black and white, but rather it's mostly shades of grey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to think that I'm making Ethiopia a bit more hospitable to people who like to see it and bother to come here... CouchSurfing is an excellent way of getting to know the actual culture of a place... as opposed to what is advertised.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people and I've also couchsurfed. Both have been amazing experiences and I wouldn't hesitate to host or surf anytime in the future!

Interests

Books, technology, traveling etc... too many to exhaustively list

  • culture
  • books
  • technology
  • reading
  • traveling
  • hiking
  • mountains

Music, Movies, and Books

Oye! too many to list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know it's not that much of a big deal but the experience I had hiking the simien mountains was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ummm... I don't know what I could teach, perhaps I can teach you how to make an Ethiopian dish. On the contrary, I am ready to learn anything and everything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I strongly believe in the Couchsurfing advice that says "leave it better than you found it" it here refers to the home, and so whenever I surf I try to tidy up after myself and to not change the house in any way.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Hong Kong, India, Seychelles, Thailand, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ethiopia
