ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I moved to the US over 10 years ago. I currently living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area but I did spend a couple years in New York/New Jersey.

My personality is an uncomfortable blend of cold geekiness and gooey sentimentality. I can talk intelligently about politics but fall asleep quickly watching sports. You'll probably enjoy my brand of humor if you're sarcastic. I like anything with a good melody, especially over a glass of wine or my favorite cocktail, vodka & diet coke.

Oh, and I'm gay, in case that's a deal-breaker for someone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great time driving a fellow CSer around San Francisco a few years ago, but haven't had anyone stay with me or stayed with anyone yet.

Interests

Cooking: whenever I get the chance. Love the smell of fresh garlic and herbs.

Traveling: only with friends... for me traveling is more about the people you're with than the place you're going.

Thinking about life a lot.

I enjoy docu/mocumentaries but no horror or gore, thank you. I also like stand-up comedy: George Carlin, Louis CK, Kathy Griffin, Lisa Lampanelli, Eddie Izzard...

Teach, Learn, Share

Foreign languages are fun to learn, although my interests in this change from to time... I'm a native speaker of Cantonese Chinese, although I can also speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese.

I also know Microsoft Excel inside out but I doubt that makes for a thrilling conversation :-)
