I have lived on both sides of the Indian Ocean; moved from Durban to Perth in 1996. I have been living in Montreal since 2010. Love my family, love my pets, love my friends, and love traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Half of the travel experience is experiencing new things and the other half is making new friends! and I find staying with a local is the best way to get a unique experience of the city. I enjoy going to the Couch Surfing meet-ups in my local city -- and sometimes when I am travelling also.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Climbing a Mayan temple at Coba was very fulfilling - once at the top the jungle just went forever. While in Egypt I went inside tombs and pyramids, and that was pretty surreal. One of my first travel experiences was ice skating on the 2nd level of the Eiffel Tower, which was super fun and romantic, and I will always remember that... I have also been blessed to go experience Burning Man; and I believe the values of BM are very connected to the values of Couch Surfing :)
