ABOUT ME

I would like to be witness to as many everyday miracles as possible. I work as a volunteer doula so that's usually where I get my fix. :)
I am a vegetarian and I love to eat vegetables and weird grains like amaranth. and tofu dusted with Nutritional Yeast. MMMM!

I love learning about other cultures through laughter and conversations, or dance, or whatever else emerges! But I am also good at being quiet, at listening, and at communicating with my house plants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in an intentional community/cooperative house for two years that often welcomed artists and pilgrims and travelers passing through. I also hosted a few times after moving back in with my Mom. Now I live in a house in Seattle where my housemates prefer not to have CS guests, but I'm always happy to meet up for coffee and show you around town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have made friends with many wonderful couchsurfers in the co-op I lived in. Last summer I WWOOFed and couchsurfed through Southern France , and hosted a few unexpected couchsurfers in Paris, too.

Interests

I like: childbirth, herbal teas, trees, Rumi, spontaneous dance parties, Classical Indian Dance, stage theatre, mundane theatre in the streets and shopping malls, clown noses, voluntary simplicity, insight meditation, language and poetry, vegetarian food
