i'm an optimistic person who loves to learn new things and is curious to meet people from different backgrounds and countries and to listen to their stories. i'm a rather calm/introverted (INFJ) person but i'm not shy. i'm enthusiastic about new ideas/challenges and i love to be inspired by everyone/everything.

PHILOSOPHY

"sometimes there's so much beauty in the world i feel like i can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in" this is a quote from "american beauty". i couldn't agree more. life's beautiful, you can find beauty almost everywhere and sometimes it's just too overwhelming.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i absolutely love the couchsurfing spirit. i've met wonderful people through couchsurfing, it was a great experience and i can't wait to surf more couches (and start hosting) and meet different people. :) couchsurfing inspires and broadens your horizon and it's just the best way to travel. i wouldn't want to miss it for the world.

Música, películas y libros

i'm a movie buff and i love movies. some of my favourites are the shawshank redemption (don't know how many times i've seen it), brick, moon, lars and the real girl, hunger, shame, x-men: first class, jane eyre, virtually all movies with michael fassbender, unforgiven, gran torino, stay, le havre, drive, eyes wide shut, dolls, the empire strikes back, das weiße band, in bruges, requiem for a dream, pi, arlington road, bullitt, match point, lost in translation, i'm a cyborg, but that's ok, spirited away, wilbur wants to kill himself my favourite directors are hitchcock, kubrick, kaurismäki, van sant, lang, kitano, kar-wei, jarmusch, fincher, scorsese, lynch and of course eastwood.

i love to read the catcher in the rye, on the road, schuld und sühne, the road, jeder stirbt für sich allein, the berlin stories, demian, der trinker, das urteil, steppenwolf, the brooklyn follies, infinite jest, generation x, nachtzug nach lissabon, narziß und goldmund, die verwandlung, der prozeß....my favorite authors are j.d. salinger, jack kerouac, douglas coupland, franz kafka, fyodor dostoyevsky, hermann hesse, hans fallada, richard yates, cormac mccarthy, sylvia plath and paul auster.

i'm addicted to music and i love the album leaf, the boxer rebellion, the notwist, ella fitzgerald, miles davis, duke ellington, nirvana, radiohead, dinosaur jr., grizzly bear, pearl jam, fink, bonobo, the cinematic orchestra, eels, björk, the beatles, j mascis, chopin, röyksopp, the shins, digitalism, sigur ros, fever ray, shearwater, apparat, mogwai, pretty lights, talib kweli, eminem, nas, mobb deep.... mostly i listen to independent, grunge, singer songwriter, hip hop, jazz, electro and classical music.

i don't watch tv but i enjoy shows like the x-files, firefly, castle, the tudors, friends, twin peaks, game of thrones, the daily show, the wire, mad men, homeland, american horror story

Algo increíble que he hecho

_the amazingly friendly people in Japan - it just blew me away.
_I travelled alone through Japan's main island Honshu and it was the best experience of my life
_I also travelled via train through the USA - starting from Chicago via Iowa, Denver, Salt Lake City, Nevada to San Francisco and then from San Francisco to Seattle. It was awesome and it changed my perspective on life
