About Me

First at all I ask you to READ ALL MY PROFILE!

WE DON'T ACCEPT GUESTS DURING THE WEEK !

Adicts to MOBILE PHONES are NOT welcome.

We appreciate if you are a Verified member

And now a little bit about me:

My real name is Fernando.

As I have received a lot of requests where people mentioned they want to meet me why I was born in Cuba and they love it. I decided to explain this:

I left Cuba when I was 24. Like every minimun intelligent people I wanted to be FREE, I like to think by my self. I don't need and I don't want anybody to tell me what I must to say or to do and you know that Cuba is a dictature! (please don't tell me that Schools and Hospitals are good). If you are not agree with that it's better not to meet us. I don't really like to talk about Cuba. I have been living here since 1992 and all I can say about it is non actual information. Maybe you know more than me.
But if you want to know something about Cuba you can read the Blog from Yoani http://www.14ymedio.com/blogs/generacion_y/
That's Cuba.
I don't beleive in homeland, roots, feelings related with the country you were born, honor to be a Cuban, etc.

Now it's time to talk about me (or us).

We love to invite people to our house. . I love puntuallity too. If I say 8.00 am it's 8.00 am, it's not 8.10 or 8.30 am as usual in Spain.
We are not really interested in Discos, bars or parties night late. We prefer to meet during the day
I'm a good redwine fan. So now you know how to make me happy.
I studied Computer science at Havannas's university and I work in the IT department for a Hosteling school.
Maybe there is a lot of things I should write here but now I think it's enough. If we host you, you could know more about us.

Flying details!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to be practical. Maybe it's a mistake but it's mine. Sometimes it's necessary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to host at least once a month, maybe two but no more and only on Weekends because we have not time to spend with the guests during the week and we like to share our time with people and no to see them only before sleeping. I don't usually go to night meetings. Most of them are for going party and drinking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have always received friends and other people at home but now we have the oportunity to meet other people and to learn about their countries and their lifes.
Now, one year or more later, we have to add here that
most people don't read the profile before to ask for couch or even if they will stay with you and I think is not a very good idea.
We think it is really difficult too to find hosts everywhere even people you have already hosted. But to meet CS in our trips is always a very good experience.
So, you, who are looking for someone in Barcelona read this very carefully before to write me and don't ask for HELP
