CURRENT MISSION

Due to my little children (9 and 11 years old in 2016) and a fulltime job it is not obvious to travel the world. So I will see and meet the world - beginning in my own country !

Getting balanced and being true to myself in everything I do and will do.

ABOUT ME

Well I am more a thinker then a talker but if you bring up the right subject there is no holding back!
I love to hike (even alone) and I found out (during the years) that I have a special connection to 'walking on islands'. The combination of “mountains-water and sun” are perfect for me.
I dislike “rain-cold-snow and ice”, especially after following a course of alpine mountaineering ;-)
A personal goal is to visit a lot of islands (the small ones).
If I can do some Yoga, meditation and massages on those islands it would be perfect!
I also love to travel by motorcycle. Plans for a trip to Ireland are in the make.
Travel with the trans-Siberian express is another thing I would like to do.

PHILOSOPHY

MY DREAM

Instead of travelling around and offering ‘massages, yoga and other activities’ (it didn’t work out this way on my adventure in France 2013), I am thinking to look for a fixed place under the southern sun in Europe.

The next is the description of my dream … a realistic one but up till now still a dream.

The “SunRise Retreat Center” is situated in a mountain like enviroment with water (sea-lake-river) nearby. The “SR-CR” is built on a large property with a lot of trees (olive-prune-apple-pear-orange-lemon-cherry), a home garden and a farmyard (goats-chicken-sheep-cats and a dog) and inclusive donkeys for hiking tours with children.
The house has some rooms for the participants. A cheaper solution is a small campsite to put your tent and hammock in (a famous traveler and rainbow family principle).
The goal is to do a lot in the DIY-way in and around the house.
A swimming pool, jaccuzi, rocket stoves, yucon, bbq … all being self-built could be awesome.
Cooking, eating and doing the dishes together is a must-do but not obligated.
This “SR-RC” is not a hotel but an interactive participation of all visitors.
The basic idea is to be totally independent … living off-grid and bio-ecological.
Building a true ‘Earthship’ would be the ultimate dream of dreams.

In the “SR-RC” people can choose a wide variety of activities such as:

• Donkey hikes with children
• Dog whisperer and basic dog training program
• Making spirits of the existing tree fruits

• Massage week (divers techniques)
• Stillness week
• Meditation practise week
• Intuitive painting course – the spiral of creation
• Tantra for dummies week
• Mantra and Bhajan week
• Cooking week (macrobiotic-vegetarian-paleo-ayurvedic)
• Ceramic week
• Dancing week (5-flows by Roth)
• Special Detox program (combinations of above)

Etc ...
Also combinations of Sun and Rise are possible.

Due to my little children (9 and 11 years old in 2016) and a fulltime job it is not obvious to start-up my dream in a foreign country in the south of Europe (and a lack of money). As a general repetition I will start-up a mini version of the “SR-RC” in my own place … Scheldewindeke – Belgium.
