I am thankful each day for what I have, but I will never stop trying to better myself and the world around me. I love life and I search for beauty in everything.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Swam with sharks, sea turtles, and sea lions in the Galapagos; watched the sunrise over the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Piccu; witnessed the political unrest in the Peruvian alto plano which ultimately led to riots and 6 deaths in Puno; saw firsthand the power of mother earth as the Volcan Tungurahua put on a beautiful light show over the town of Baños, Ecuador; played in the bioiluminecese filled waters at the beach of Leo Carillo; met a 6 year old Aymara girl who is possibly the happiest person I have ever known, in spite of the fact that her family of 6 lives in a single room hut without any of the material possessions the Western world takes for granted.

Nadé con tiburones, tortugas marinas y lobos marinos en las islas Galápagos. He visto la salida del sol sobre las antiguas ruinas incas de Machu Picchu. Fuí testigo de la agitación política en el alto plano de Perú, donde en última instancia, provocó disturbios y 6 muertes en Puno.
