My favorite books are... too many, but Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything, Oliver Sack's On the Road, Anne Lamotte's Bird by bird are on top of the list.

Rescued three two-week old kittens on my trip in the Azores from the road side and found them a loving home.
Swam through a water hole inside of a dark cave in Bermuda, and got out on the other side!
