I manage Hybrasil House, a "restorytelling campus" in Austin, Texas ... we combine community-centered performance art, Earthing walks, and other festive means of restoring our spirit by re-telling our tales. :)

I used to be such a lil travel bug, then cooled my heals for about a decade to build this magical space -- but I'm finally in the phase where I can be away from it again, and trust it to run smoothly without me!

Now I'm gearing up to travel seasonally (performing in less humid climates each summer) and sometimes randomly for work (producing other storytelling projects / live events).

I love to meet other ecophiles, explore forests/lakes/mountains/cities, jam/sing/dance, cook in groups, learn new words, exchange snail mail, and scribble in notebooks.

Couchsurfing has brought me true soulmates and allowed me adventures I otherwise couldn't afford. More importantly, it's shown me such wild generosity in action and in doing so, stoked my own desire to give just for the joy of it. Thank you, CS!

You can save water by keeping a bucket in your shower to collect the run off, and dumping it in the toilet when it's time to flush. It also works for soaking dirty dishes before loading them in the dishwasher, watering plants & re-filling pet bowls.
