Social Butterfly from birth...chatty, introspective,
agreeable though strong willed at times, love to laugh, meet new people, experience new things...connect with others, really connect..not sure what superficiality is all about, I'm an in depth kind of girl, good friend to have! I'm physically active, funny, silly, sweet, caring, compassionate,generous...what can I say, I'm just me!

PHILOSOPHY

It is my belief that we come together over and over to continue learning the lessons most prevelant for the growth of our souls...ya know, sometimes you just "know" you've known someone before...and you don't know how you know, you just "know" it...those are the special moments in life...being tapped into my intution is my greatest strength, has never steered my wrong EVER and I love that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the CS network 8 years ago after having met a now good friend who was surfing in Scotland at a g/f's home in the Highlands. Since then I've hosted a few times, been on a few meet ups in NY and have met some very cool people! Unfortunately I don't have a place of my own to host at the moment, but i do hope that changes one day soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to CS myself, but have hosted a few very cool
travelers in my home at the base of Mt. Shasta....all
were great, and I'm happy to do so again when I return
to California or get a place of my own on Long Island.
Have met some fabulous CSers from Long Island, done a few group outings & showed a random Scotsman around NYC, what a life huh?! ;-)
I'll definitely hit some people up to crash on their
couch sometime in the future...life is full of adventures & I plan on continuing mine! :-)

Interests

Music...favorite is Celtic, but I love all music, mostly Classic Rock if I'm in the car.

Photography..love taking pictures, document just about everything.

Reading : I previously said Historical Fiction was my 1st love...that's not quite true...my heart has long
since been captured by Metaphysics, with H.F. coming in
a close 2nd! I just LOVE to read!!!

Connecting with people...without that I don't know how I'd survive!

Astrology: What I call "Soul Psychology"...love it, not the fluff you read in the paper, the real nitty gritty of Charts, Aspects, Planetary Alignments...it's so much fun!

Movies: Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Young Frankenstein, Avatar, Wuthering Heights, Waking Ned Divine,Amelie,Glory, Whatever Happened To Baby Jane,Blazing Saddles,What Dreams May Come, A Beautiful Mind,Fiddler On The Roof......

Music: Celtic, Classic Rock, Blues, Gypsy Jazz....
The Who, Led Zeppelin, Madonna,Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Alannis Morrisette, Neil Young, Billie Holiday....and many, many more....

Books: "Outlander" series , "The Mists of Avalon" or any book by Marion Zimmer Bradley , "The Prophet" Khalil Gibran, Gregg Braden's books (amazing!)...Metaphysical books are the ones that tend to dominate my bookshelf at home, but Historical Fiction comes in 2nd place :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing what I've visualized come into my experience on numerous occasions! We are powerful creators, we just need to remember and trust ourselves more!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing what I've learned in life when someone is having a hard time going through a particular experience that I've already been through...as they say, hindsight is 20/20...best to assist those who are behind you on the path...and to learn from those who are ahead...I'm happy to be able to really take a good, hard look at myself and learn from the experiences that were the hardest on my heart & soul...it is from those that I have become a much stronger Woman & more cohmpassionate person!

I'm definitely available to meet up with anyone travelling
thru my area, which is in the heart of the hamptons. I'm
caretaking my folks now, so no room to host but I'd be
willing to take you around to some sites!
