Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Went on a couchsurfing/hitchhiking trip from Berlin back to England in the summer. Busked with a guitarist for the whole trip and had a great time with really hospitable and brilliant people everywhere we stopped.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played my violin on the side of a road in Holland- it worked! Eventually someone gave us a lift!

I played to a woman who had suffered a stroke but a friend knew what her favourite piece on the violin was. As soon as I started playing it, her whole face lit up and she became so animated. I will never forget the impact of that.
