About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning more every day (about the world, and how I fit in it)

ABOUT ME

After quiting my job (it was hard, I love my job!), I'm finally fulfilling a longtime dream of traveling long time

PHILOSOPHY

As most, I've had ups and downs. I am now in a place where I finally like and respect myself. I'm optimistic and happy, love to discover new culture, learn new skills, meet new people, interact and learn...
Also I'd like to finally be able to whistle. I'm thtill thrying tho get it thright ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've moslty traveled, surfed and met amazing people thanks to CS. I've always lived with roommates who weren't open to couchsurfing, so I met up, had a coffee or dinner, showed around ...
My next dream (after that looong travel adventure) is to build a tiny house. I would love to invite couchsurfers to experience tiny living in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the very first time in november 2012 in Gaspesia. The first personn spontaniously offered to host me and, despit the 40 years difference, it felt like finding a sister back. I also met, amongst others, a very esotheric guy. We had the most interresting talks and I ended up staying at he's place 3 nights!

Interests

I get bored easily so I have a lot of interests. But mainly it is about relationship. I like doing crafts, going to the movies with friends and talking about the film we just saw, reading, going to concerts and being surprised by a band I didn't know, wandering around and discovering funny little things, watching nature taking over the city, architecture, smiling to stranger in big cities (the reactions are so funny!), singing and dancing in the streets, camping, sleeping, helping building a house (haven't done this one very often!), watching kids play and interact...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like everything! It would be easier to write things I don't like (:scary movies and music with shouted lyrics I can't understand)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the most amazing place I've seen is Bryce Canyon, but there are so many of them (amazing place, not Bryce Canyons ^^)! Sevilla is also impressive: you can walk around form a wonder to another! I've also camped on the mountain right in front of the Mont Blanc: showering facing this magnificent force of nature is pretty incredible!
I've walked 2 St James' way and am proud of having walked more than 1100km at once (in several days ^^).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach cooking, how to start a fire, read a map... I know my region pretty well (my mother is a tourist guide and made sure we knew where we live before discovering The World) so I can show around. Mostly, I like to share ideas, thoughts, opinions. I'm very curious and like to learn frome others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very social, like to talk and share a good talk/time... and I enjoy cooking a lot! ;)
