Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My story changes quite frequently as I stumble my way through life. I claim Chicago as my hometown, I was born and raised just outside of Chicago. I studied at Purdue University and then abroad in Stuttgart, Germany. I worked and lived in Walt Disney World as an intern in Orlando, Florida. I had an amazing time in Disney World and it is a major part of who I am today.

Once I graduated with my bachelors degree I had a case of "what is the point of life" syndrome. I moved to the Florida Keys and worked to live. I picked up my odd hobby-- hula hooping, which I still do nearly everyday. After living in Auckland New Zealand for a couple of years, I now find myself back in the US just outside of Washington DC, in Arlington, VA.

I've hosted a few people along the way and have had some excellent hosts!! I love meeting new people even if I cannot host I am always up to grab a drink and share a story :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All good experiences, an excellent way to meet genuinely good people everywhere you go.

Interests

I love horses, my hula hoops, running, biking, trekking, and just being in nature. I enjoy learning in all aspects. Languages and different cultures fascinate me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing, eh? So much expectation with that word... I've been on a lot of fun, beautiful, crazy adventures in my life. The most amazing part is always the reflection which follows.

I've saved a life, hula hooped on a volcano, and help old ladies carry their groceries... all of which made me feel amazing :)
