ABOUT ME

Out-going person that has achieved partial retirement. I live alone in a modern city 5 minutes from the US Olympic Training Center, 20 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and the US - Mexico Border Crossings. All of this by choice. I'm 6' tall and about 210lbs. I am a male that happens to be mixed with Black and Indian. People generally like me.

I have 2 kids in college, which I have encouraged to travel as well.

Enjoying life, finding new things and people to love, and the memories of happiness whilst enjoying the different unique foods of the area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I bring my experience of traveling and my the world as my neighbors. A world without borders. I will share my knowledge and stories of living in the US as a positive experience and share what I've learn with my interaction with others from around the world. I actually live in US and work in Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Organizing a People to People Courch Surfing event on Thursdays in Chula Vista, San Diego County, California US on thursday from 4pm-7pm. Get more information about the the gathering on the Events Page. And I hope to meet you.

Interests

I enjoy sports events. I intend to attend the 2012 Olympics in London. And hope to bring my 2 college family members (boy 20 and girl 18)with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've personally visited South Korea. From the DMZ to Pusan. I've also visited Israel from the northern border to Lebanon as far south of Sham ar Shik. I've also worked for the Multinational Peacekeeping Force in Sinai, Egypt.I've also lived in Germany in the cities of Wurzburg, Crailsheim, Illesheim, Muncih and Bavaria locations

Teach, Learn, Share

The residence is located in Southern San Diego County in the city of Chula Vista. Which 25 minutes from the airport by car. 1.5 hours by train and bus if connection are on time. 20 minutes from downtown San Diego or the Mexican border crossings of San Ysidro or Otay Mesa. We are also near the US Olympic Training Center.
