ABOUT ME

Widely educated, open to ideas and experiences,and equiped with a good sense of humour, I try to navigate my way around.

Although involved with real estate developement and some other businesses, I do not see myself as a "business person" per se. For me business is a mean not an end.

I'd rather devote my time to reading, writing, experiencing culture and art, both as a productive hobbie as well as consumption activity.

I devote time to social activities, such as being on the board of an NGO,involves both Jews and Arabs,
to enhance the relationship between the two communities inside Isreal.

I am informal by nature, honest and direct in my speaking

I do not smoke.

Iam married and have two grown up children.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a pragmatic view of the world. People have interests and are motiveted by sub-conscious drives that they do not understand, established by surviving instincts, past experience, and genetic features.

As a temporary visitor on this earth, I try to enjoy my stay on it, experience it, understand it and what is going on, on it. I enjoy digging deep into the undstanding of the society I am staying with, and the undergraound movments of it, its world of content, the issues it copes with, and ways it does it.

In general, I am really eager to fully understand why people do what they do the way they do it, and how it effects & shapes their inner world, and vice versa.

People shop for meaning and identity as major drives. For me, identity is a less important issue, although nearly no one could escape this dimension of his characteristics. It is meaning that serves as my main drive to act.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer small scale meetings, from one on one to small company forms. It could be a going out night, meeting for coffee, eating out or meeting at someone's home.

I do have a place to stay in London but I can not host.

Some of the time I will be on my own in London.
My wife will join me for some time.

Interest in world & comparative politics, from all its complex aspects (social, economic, cultural, environmental, geographical, political,

I am intrested in establishing strong social contacts, enjoys traveling, music (up-to-date Jazz, Electro-Jazz, blues,indi. Open to experimental music and any interesting musical experiences), film, reading, mainly non-fictions.

I helped others when they really needed it.

I found original solutions to problems when they where in a dead-end situations.
