ABOUT ME

I am an individual who likes to try new things. I love running, jumping, hiking, diving, swimming, playing games, eating, sleeping, and almost any other activity under the sun. I'm always up for a good conversation whether it's over a books, movies, politics or abstract theories of some kind. Beyond that I'm completely in love with the ocean. I'm a divemaster, and worked for a short time on Guam leading dives and helping with classes. Beyond that I'm a teacher at heart. I enjoy showing people what I've learned, and had an opportunity to teach K-6 physical education and 7-12 journalism, also on Guam. It was without doubt and amazing experience. Because of that experience, I studied physical education, journalism and German at Walla Walla University - but ended up switching for a communications and public relations major, with minors in German and physical education. I also enjoy music. I play piano, and saxophone, and do a bit of composing from time to time.

I've had a small amount in Dresden and Paris, but I'm looking forward to adding to that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah Clive Cussler's early Dirk Pitt novels were fantastic! More recently I have indulged myself with the Darth Bane Star Wars trilogy, the Inheritance books, some books by Dostoyevsky, The Odyssey, Master and Commander, early Xanth novels by Piers Anthony. I'll read almost anything... Music - I love music, love jazz and big band especially but I like almost everything. Good movies are Avatar, Sahara (though the book is much better), James Bond, Star Wars, GEt smart... the list goes on and on and on... Chuck the TV show!
