Overview
About Me
I'm a engineer in energy efficiency in buildings. The goal of my job is to suggest actions of improvement for buildings to reduce their consumption. I like my job because I'm quite ecological and I think I do something useful for the environment and to reduce global warming.
I am a very curious, easy-going guy, I am interested in many things. I involve myself in what I do, make plans!
When I'm not busy at work, I try to go out with my friends, discover the places around me and play sports. But I also enjoy staying at home to watch movies.
My philosophy: If you want to do something do it and don't make excuses for yourself! (expect if that thing is bad for environment or can hurt someone, in this case do not do it haha)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered CS in 2010. At that time I was doing a train trip around Europe (Interrail) and have been hosted in Berlin. The guy who hosted me didn't know me at all but he trusted me, gave me a spare key and shared stories with me.
So I think, what I like the most in Couchsurfing, beyond the fact that you meet awesome people and hear great stories, is the trust link that there is between the surfer and the host without any kind of money or insurance involved.
Interests
I'm very curious and interesting in quite everything. Like most of people in CS, I would say my first interest is traveling of course!
I'm a fan of outdoor, really love to go hiking, biking, slacklining. Actually I like sport in general.
I listen to a lot of music, play guitar (as a beginner), watch movies.
I enjoy talking about sciences and philosophy, trying to "remake the world"!
I recently built up an interest in cooking. I enjoy the nature but also high tech stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music in general, even if I'm more into folk, rock and electronic music (chill out, deep house).
my favorite directors are Tarantino and Nolan. I most of the time enjoy true stories.
My last book was Wild, a true story about an the Pacific Crest Trail, and it was pretty awesome. I like to read popularization science magazine, and I really want to start reading philosophical books but I don't have much time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I did a year road trip, 30 000 km, around Australia. It was really amazing, I've seen wonderful things, met awesome people and learn a lot about me.
Another amazing thing I've done is the Overland Track, a 5 days trek in the Tasmanian mountains and a 3 weeks hitchhiking trip in Tasmania.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got knowledge in renewable energy, ecology and energy efficiency in buildings given that I'm working in that field.
I can teach you slacklining, it's a sport I do and enjoy a lot. I like to cook and we can cook together! I also can teach french of course and history about France.
I am very curious and interested in many things. I'd like to listen to anecdote about your city, country and stories about your trips.
I like to exchange about traveling, sports, music, movies, cooking, philosophy, sciences, etc...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories (I've got some nice one), my love of life, my skills and I know how to be a good listener too ;)
