I'm a former mathematics grad student turned pharmacy tech, which makes me "over-educated and poor". I like discussion, I like politics, I like food. Provided a low danger level, I like trying new things. (Curious, but not daring, perhaps?)

I am in a living situation that doesn't allow for hosting right now.

I love traveling, I love meeting new people, and CS a great way to do those things.

I'm very interested in how people learn new things, which is one of the reasons that I enjoy tutoring so much.

I like British comedy... probably a little too much. If pressed, I could probably recite entire episodes of "Blackadder" and "Yes, Minister".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last spring I went to visit a friend in Vancouver. The view from her front porch = amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some of my favorite experiences with meeting new people have involved them teaching me to cook new things, such as when a friend of mine taught me to make sushi when I was in college. Great stuff!
