About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making the world a better place one smile at a time while confronting ignorance and other forms of right wing lunacy.
ABOUT ME
Playful, funny, creative, energetic, kind, compassionate, intelligent, hot dancing committed social radical
PHILOSOPHY
Live as lightly as you can, both spiritually and ecologically, while doing as little damage as possible. Accept the fact that everything eats something and you that can't help leaving a footprint. Try, however, to leave only footprints.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just getting started with this organization, but I've crashed with people around the world over the last 40 years. One memorable experience was 3 days with folks in the Camerounian rainforest during monsoon in their mud huts on some river bank while we waited for the outboard motor that powered the one-vehicle-at-a-time "ferry" to be repaired so they could retrieve our landrover that had floated three miles down the river in the dark when the drunken skipper had pushed off and couldnt get the outboard to crank. A good time was had by all!
Interests
I am never bored, except by cocktail party chatter. I love learning and creating new systems, be they social, entrepreneurial, personal. I write, make videos, picket and march, curse politicians on both sides of the aisle, wish we had a parliamentary gov't, grow organic veggies and raise pastured beef and pigs, live with 14 other families on 64 acres we've done our best to develop sustainably over the last 20 years, am still totally fascinated by and involved with my clients after 35 years as a family/marital therapist.

Music, Movies, and Books
Absolutely!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the coast of Corsica solo, particularly the morning I suddenly encountered that massive bull in the fog on the cliff-edge road.
Being given, as the honored dinner guest, first a hand and then the head of the small green monkey that turned out to be the meat in the truly delicious stew.
