ABOUT ME

To describe myself in one word it would be: Stubborn.

However stubborn doesn't have to uphold a negative connotation as I am stubborn about learning new skills, I am stubborn in the sense that I don't ever quit at what I believe in, I am stubborn as I don't just take what I'm told as truth but look for answers on my own, I'm stubborn at being independent, etc.

Im known to be a leader not a follower, an enthusiast with a contagious smile, well balanced, well educated, philosopher and generally someone with an open mind who stresses alternative thinking in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is all about balance - The dualistic nature of our world creates this balance on its own but we ourselves have a choice to create what we want of it and try and alter our own degree of balance. I can go on for ages on this topic and others and well my personal philosophy follows that of a wise man back in the day who once said "an unexamined life is not one worth living."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well in all honesty I just learnt about CS while on my last leg of travelling, and although I had heard of the concept before I just recently joined the CS community. This being said, I've been interested in opening up my own commune as my next business venture. This would welcome all travellers to couch surf with open arms. So although my contribution at the moment is limited, I hope for it to grow deeper over time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I couch surfed a couple of times before without the use of this site, weather it be in China or Australia or even back at home in Canada, I have found couch surfing an amazing way to meet new people and locals and truly get to experience a city or area while making real connections with people. I hope to do more couch surfing in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all types and kinds of movies books and music as long as they provide me a reason to think about the words being said in them, or about the topics being discussed and thus I can find a personal connection to as well as learn and grow from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wouldn't do any moment justice if I were to pick any one moment in my life that was amazing over another. My entire life in general is something I see as amazing. The fact that the sun rises in the morning without fail is as amazing as anything else. Thus there are so many stories and great moments I've been lucky to be a part of and would love to share them in person with whoever!

Teach, Learn, Share

A wise man knows that the more he begins to understand and know the less in fact he actually knows.

I can offer knowledge on owning your own business to helping people get motivated and light a fire to get people going. I get people to think and self examine their life. I like all humans are a fountain of information and well all who want to share are welcome to drink from my fountain as long as I can drink from theres too. I believe in sharing information for free as creating a win-win scenario amongst people is the ultimate way of moving forward in life. I have so much I'd love to learn from languages, to learning how to play guitar or build a website and so much more. Again I'm open to anything and everything.
