ABOUT ME

I am an adventurous, energetic and very curious young woman who loves to discover new places and meeting new people. I'm in constant search for the unknown, the road less travelled...new experiences.

I enjoy the sun, the water, the mountains and anything outdoors really!

I have a lot of energy but I can also definitely enjoy quiet times. I like languages (My mother tongue is Argentinian Spanish but I'm proficient in English (British and Australian! lol) and I have an intermediate command of French) I'm interested in other cultures and learning from others. I love cycling and would love to learn more about sailing...

I listen to music, I take photos (lot's of them!), read, but most of all I am a social butterfly and need to be out there, meeting people and having fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted some couchsurfers and I have couchsurfed myself which has been amazing.

I attend meetings or gatherings every now and again. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have "officially" hosted 4 couchsurfers so far but I have been a CS in spirit ever since I did my first backpacking trip in 2000! so I have surfed couches, hosted, been a tour guide, shared cars, etc.

I've recently surfed couches officially and unofficially in Lille, Brussels, Ghent, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Copenhagen and Pau and I've met other amazing travellers and hosts!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: preferably art house or non-hollywood movies (Amelie, Festen, El Secreto de sus ojos) although sometimes I enjoy a good action movie like The Bourne Identity but I'll watch anything really, I also like to have a good laugh with comedy (Anchorman, Old School, The Hangover)

Music: I listen to all kinds of music (except Heavy metal!) but it depends on the mood, one day I can listen to classical music then I'll switch to Jeff Buckley or David Bowie, The Beatles, Birds of Tokyo, Radiohead, Absynthe Minded, Aussie Hip Hop, Camille, Daft Punk, Melody Gardot, Deadmau5, The Doors, Jurassic 5, Florence & the Machine, Louis Armstrong, Audioslave, Silversun Pickups, Selah Sue, The Kooks, Puggy, ....see?? I wasn't lying when I said I like all kinds of music!! I always like to listen to new things too, new sounds! I could keep on going for a long time!

Books: I'm also quite open about what I read although I prefer non-fiction. However my favourite book from childhood is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the kids from a Cambodian orphanage performing Khmer tradional dance and music just for me and three of my friends. Truly amazing.
