I'm always a respectful guest, and I love being around creative and stimulating people. I have an open mind and enjoy getting to know new people. I'm relatively easy going, and love a good laugh. I would love to stay with some musicians or people who love going to see shows, as that's one of my main goals when travelling is to get a taste of the local sound-scape! Perhaps even play some shows!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this project. I have had couchsurfers at my place in Vancouver before, but they were organized by my roommate. I've met a few really awesome people that way. On the whole, however, I am fairly new to being the visiting party.

Interests

Music is the backbone to my life. I am a songwriter and pianist, as well as educator and improviser. Other than making tunes, I am also a huge zine fan, and have a few of my own, and I am also really into good eats and good drinks! I play in a Balinese Gamelan orchestra as well, and host my own radio show on CiTR 101,9 FM in Vancouver that showcases experimental and ecclectic music.
