ABOUT ME

Back in 1999, I spent 6 months in Wildomar, California. That was my first experience living abroad. I was 18, and an exchange student, and It was such a perspective change for me. People are so different, and still, so much alike.
Dreams, doubts, broken hearts, love birds, good people and individuals that are still a work in progress - among so much more - fated to coexist, wandering all over this earth! The endless, surprising, slightly different approaches on dealing with problems and solutions that we find around is, for me, almost mesmerizing!

PHILOSOPHY

Since it's hard to fit in a world where fair-play ain't exactly the golden rule, I chose to document this place, its beauty and imperfections. Understanding is the key word. I am all about getting to know people, hearing about their life experiences and trying to learn the best out of them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During the last years, I have not been the most active of members, however, I am know looking forward using this Social Network as a tool to reach amazing people and stories to portray with photography.

Interests

Being Helpful, photographing, coexisting, sharing, jamming (I play the Electric guitar), writing, practicing aikido, learning languages, legends, drinking Games and Lullabies. Experiencing folk and Regional culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not exactly a Bowie fan, but If listening to his Album "Reality" is, for you, a pleasant experience, we will probably get along well.

At the moment I enjoy listening to Mozart's Piano Sonatas and Beethoven's String Quartets. In the past, tracks from Jeanne Cherhal, Camile, Corinne Bailey Rae, Moloko, Parov Stelar, Radiohead, etc... were more often in my playlist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved lives. Birds, ants, mosquitos, cockroaches, you name it. Small beings, but what moves those little legs might work as well in a larger scale, like mine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a somehow experienced photographer, and can share what I learned over the years with whoever is interested. I have built quite a big repertoire on photography workflow, techniques (Outdoor or Studio), digital manipulation and all sorts of considerations about how images and storytelling are supposed to work. Furthermore, I would love to take your portrait.
