We are happy to host fellow travelers in our home, as well as enjoying the hospitality of new friends around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed in lots of hostels all over the world. C/S is another way to get to know more people in a more intimate, environmentally friendly way.

Interests

I've planted hundreds of evergreen trees.....and get such a wonderful feeling seeing them grow and provide for a return of wildlife. Like to bake, read, ride my bike, explore, swim, kayak, and hang out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many great foreign films, they help me "travel" even when I have to stay home. Have recently discovered Iranian, Turkish, and Brazilian movies. I also enjoy discovering new music - especially live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the sunrise at the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Burma. Felt true kinship with CS hosts in Wellington, Bodrum, and Rhodes. Stayed in a 700 year-old Norman baker's hut with my wife. Marveled at the northern lights from the deck of a ship inside the Arctic Circle. Stood 3 meters from the red-hot lava river at the top of the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala.
