2017 ^^ Traveling around this beautiful world for the whole year with the best travel companion one can have. Sharing our love and joy for life thru travel and couchsurfing in Africa, India, Japan and the USA.

2016 ^^ I've been Lucky enough to realise my dreams (see below) and keep up with this semi nomadic lifestyle troughout the years. I'm still a vagabond at heart and hit the road when needed.

2012-2015 ^^ Realising a dream, I'm on a trip around the world for an undetermined amount of time. Hitchhiking and Couchsurfing are my lifelines on this magical quest

ABOUT ME

I think people often see me as a dreamer. The contrary is closer to the truth, I'm a practical person in my own stubborn ways.

And maby I'm subborn, but I'm also very open, sociable and most important happy! What I hope to achieve is, to let my positive energie flow to others.

Whet else is there to say, I'm verry active! You won't find me relaxing on beaches day in day out. I need to do sports - preferably football (soccer), snowboarding and never to forget (beer)(ping)pong and so many others.

I do not like, but love and adore a good beer. If this is combined with great people and good story's my day can't go any better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Untill March 2012 I have only hosted several great people from all over the world. Providing them a place stay, a tour in my fabulous city of Ghent and food on the table. But above all with friendship and hospitality.

I'm also a member of numerous CS groups, the one more active then the other. And when necessary, I help organising events.

At the time being, I'm traveling the globe and staying with great CS hosts. Hoping to make my stay a permanent and positive memorie for them. Being a helping hand by day, storyteller by night and friend for life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a dozen of CS'ers and I hope they had the same amazing feeling as I did. A feeling of frienship, trust, creating new relations with the help of CS.

2016^^ I've been hosted by over 100 people to date and I can't find a single negative thing to say about any of them. CS stays one of my most important traveling assets and one the best ways to meet new friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I randomly think about the last few years of my life and every extremely amazing thing that comes to mind, is something that took place when I was traveling. Story's are to be told in real life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn: Oh so much, let me try and tell a few...
- surfing/diving
- yoga or something related
- building a wooden cottage (to live in)
- All there is to learn about traveling = never ending
- ...

Teach:
- About the great belgian art of making beer, and definitely about how to pour beer (hate it when they do it wrong)!
- Snowboarding if needed, some football if really needed, ..
- I can give some HH lessons
