People are the same everywhere, but governments are a different story ;-) With my travels so far, people are just really cool most of the time. Always willing to help or offer you a place to stay, sleep or eat. Just amazing. The only time you really gotta be on guard is when dealing with the law.

I know an American that got put in prison in Mexico for public urination. He wondered why he got put in prison... It's called 'respect' in a foreign country.
