About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Drive continuous change.

ABOUT ME

In many ways I am your average joe, I like to enjoy the simple things in life, a nice chat with friends, a glass of good beer, laughing, watching sports (soccer and rugby being my top), breathtaking views from mountaintops and the consciousness-altering experience of mastering a chosen craft.

I have a propensity for ignorance, so whenever I get a chance I compensate, I like to pay attention to other ideas, with any luck I get schooled.

PHILOSOPHY

A bit of wisdom I take from J. Bronowski, something like this:

The greatest exchange of opinion in the world becomes simply a confrontation of dogma if one refuses to understand that neither you nor the person you are talking to will ever get any matter "exactly right"

Music, Movies, and Books

For books, these would be the latest:

J. Bronowski's "Science and Human Values"
L. Mlodinow's "The Drunkard's Walk"
J. Baldwin's "The Fire Next Time"
S. Junger's "War"
B. Schneier's "Liars and Outliers"

As you may notice, I prefer non-fiction but I make an exception for the D. Adam´s "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", what a jewel that one is!

Music, I have periods where I obsess over one genre, the last one was punk and these days I'm hooked bad on hip-hop. The rabbit hole started with Kung-Fu Kenny and I'm still falling.

The arts? Painting is my favorite form, the style does not matter that much to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Freezing my ass while ice-climbing on northern Sweden, and undergoing the most painful half hour of my life because of that, nevertheless, I loved it, a beautiful sport indeed.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I have studied control theory and I am pretty sure everyone can benefit from it! Here's a little taste, the brain as a model-based predictive controller (a good one, but needs updates every now and then...)

Share: Don't know, we can find out together.

Learn: Your vision for the future.
