Sobre mí

No last minute requests please, I need at least 2 weeks notice if you're planning to come stay and have maximum fun time.

I'm work as a graphic designer for Haiikuu Design. It's a design firm that specializes in design for the cannabis industry. I love my job, and all of the product testing that's involved with it ;)

To make up for the time I spend behind a computer, I spend my weekends hiking, kayaking, jogging, skiing, or whatever else I might fancy.

One thing I love doing when I'm in cities is concert spelunking. This is where I explore the small underground, usually very weird concerts going on in whatever place I'm in. It's usually a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I would rather regret what I've done and learn from my mistakes than regret what I haven't done.

This remains a personal philosophy of mine, but as I try more things, the more I know what I like and what I don't like.

Meet everyday with love.
Anything that is done without passion is probably an obligation. Live life passionately.

"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing......Only I will remain."

Don't live life as someone you're not when you were born to be the person you are.

Laugh!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have used CS as a part of a research project on alternative mapping and tourism. More information can be found on the website which is themappers.net.

I have met the best kind of people on CS and I participate by offering my home to others traveling and to show people around/ discover new things in Denver, and meet new people.

In Paris I enjoyed going to some of the cooking events and am now the new moderator for the Denver Supper Club. Come eat with us! https://www.couchsurfing.org/group.html?gid=7122

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think CS is one of the best ways to meet new people in new cities and in the places you live. It's a network of really cool minded people. Now that it's getting more corporate and mainstream there is a big pull to move to BeWelcome. (I am there as well) but someone I admire very much once said that CS is a good platform and it needs people to keep on carrying out the mission to stay that way.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I once jumped off a 50ft. cliff into a freezing lake which we later found out was contaminated with e. coli. An amazing experience made even more radical.

The first time I traveled to Amsterdam I was stranded my first night there. Even though I had no place to sleep for the night, and all the hotels and hostels were booked up, I told myself I was going to make the best of it. And I definitely did. One of the best nights of traveling that I've had so far.

Hitchiking +3000km through Europe Spring/Summer 2013
Living in a squat :)
Solo night sleeping in the Wyoming wilderness during a backpacking leadership trip.
Seeing a meteor shower and talking about life with a good friend.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Knitting, painting/drawing, driving a stick shift, French, English, random party tricks, sewing.

I would like to learn how to crochet and speak Basque, or Portuguese, or really any language for that matter.

I want to learn more about Indian and Asian cuisine. Most recently I took a trip to Thailand and attended an amazing Thai cooking course. Now I know the basics on making curry from scratch, pad thai, and of course rice that I would be happy to share.
