About Me

ABOUT ME

I would say that one of my most notorious characteristics is that I love to speak. It doesn't matter what the topic is, I always find it thrilling and rewarding to have conversations with the people I meet. And sometimes I might be a bit loud, but I'll blame that on my latin blood.
I am very friendly, and try to look after the bonds I've made in the past, as I know it's important to keep them strong.
I'm usually up to anything, looking forward to learning and trying new things, it doesn't take too much effort to convince me to join you in a crazy adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

Knowledge is knowing that a tomatoe is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now it is tricky for me to offer a couch, but I want to gain some experience surfing and later on host some people!

Interests

Traveling is probably my favorite activity, but I can't do as much of it as I would like as I'm currently studying a PhD in probability theory. I enjoy going to new places, and even more meeting other travelers that have amazing stories to share. Without forgetting to try all kinds of food! I'm also a big reader, Borges, Auster and Murakami being some of my favourite writers. I like all kinds of music, and specially enjoy to experience it live, be it some jazz, a piano recital or a rock concert.
Drinking with my friends and speaking for hours is another one of my biggest pass-times, together with playing football and watching movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's difficult to say which are my favourite books/movies/music. But I can tell you what have I read/watched/listened to recently. I just finished reading Mario Vargas Llosa's last book (El sueño del Celta) and I'm reading Mark Twain's "The innocents abroad" which is a travel book, as well as "Choke" by Palahniuk. Last week I watched and enjoyed both "Motorcycle diaries" and "Breakfast at Tiffanys" and I'm listening to Depeche Mode and Cafe Tacvba a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through Europe for 4 months, which is up to this date the most amazing adventure I had. Getting to Cape Horn and seeing all the glaciers at the bottom tip of Southamerica was also incredible.
