Me and my husband-Bora got married and quited our jobs, our apartment and started our travel around Asia as well as to discover new countries also it's a way to discover ourselves, what we want to do, what is the most thing we love. Our magic word is "to experience smt different" nowadays:) So, it's more than a travel for us.
We came back from our travel and now it's time to be a host after being guests many times :)

ABOUT ME

I live in Istanbul since i was born, just lived couple of years in Ankara for university education and in London for a half year also.

I love travelling a lot(UK,USA,Spain,Italy are higlights in West and Thailand, Laos, Cambodia in East) meeting new people and seeing new places. Whenever i get a chance, i definitely go somewhere either in Turkey or around the world.

I am an active person, have many hobbies. I like cycling too much and trekking. I really love nature,mountains, hills, lakes a lot and living in a natural way. I like doing smt new, or get a new interest. i think, i am interested in discovering smt new:)

Me and Bora are tidy people and respectful to other people's way of living and their rules, helpful and positive :)

My dream was to travel around the world for one or two years either by my bike or hitchhiking! Now, i started doing it with hitchhiking!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I attended cs meetings in Istanbul many times and had many good friends from these events. I also met with my husband in one meeting and falled in love:)

I had hosts in Europe and surfers in Istanbul. It's better to see a city/region with suggestions/views of locals.
New people from different cultures, with different persfectives is important for me. I think, there is always smt you can learn from a new person.

Now, we have been travelling around Asia for 3 months and planned for 1 year. At this time, we change many cities and we need a place to stay or people we can meet.

Música, películas y libros

I love Tony Gatlif movies a lot. I am really like listening to ethnic musics and there is always a topic around this in his movies with impressive music.

Bora likes animation, he's started to create computer game models. So his favorite movie and book is "the lord of the rings" :), he read all four books.

Algo increíble que he hecho

-Onces time when i was diving, seeing waves beating the rocks under the sea was a wonderful and romantic view.

-In Siem Reap, we cyclied in early morning in dark inside a forest. Waiting for sunrise in Angkor Wat in silence and in the end seeing it rising, feeling with full of thankful for the moment i have and a chance to live.

-Seeing Michelangelo's paintings in Vatican Museum.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

-Travelling is a wonderful thing in the life, i think. Everyone should spend time for it to make life more delighted. I think we can inspire people to do that. We can share our knowledge on how you can travel with limited bugdet, getting visa, amazing places to visit, healtcare and many travel advise. Maybe you need a little push:) for geting your backpack and hitting the roads waiting for you!

-We can teach you Turkish at beginner level and you can practise English with us.
-I can teach technical knowledge for photography.
-Bora can teach you kickbox.
-He can teach you how to fix your computer with base knowledge.
-Yoga and meditation . We can do together.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We can share travel stories and our experiences(on many subjects, but especially on a long travel that how you can survive:) ), turkish culture, traditions and music.
We can cook Turkish meal for you. Some food you can google : menemen, köfte, çoban salatası, kısır, patatesli omlet.
