About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to keep up the spirit of the old, genuine couchsurfing community.

ABOUT ME

I consider myself properly house trained, as well as potty trained. I don't leave the toilet seat up, always share my litter box, clean myself up properly and do not eat junk food. For the time being I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life in the long term, in the measure the circumstances permit it. In the meantime I try to take things easy and create a good karma for myself and others.I'm a non-smoker but my roommate smokes, so please be tolerant about it. At times pretty nerdy, I like to spend hours reading or watching documentaries, but for the most part I fancy grabbing a drink, maybe a concert/performance/demo, no fancy stuff - prefer somewhat alternative venues by a long run. I consider myself a kind of guy that likes to sit in a park with a beer in his hand (not during butt-freezing winter), so my ideal surfer does alike to keep me company :))

PHILOSOPHY

hit harder. and better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently giving a big hand in shaping up Bologna's CS wiki guide page.

Update Feb'13 - for the reasons out of my reach our wiki page has been shut down. I've saved the material and can send you sections you're interested in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

interact, interrogate.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite a cinephile, with a geeky hint...huge fan of indy films, mumblecore and B-movies, John Waters, Aronofsky, Iñárritu, Von Trier and Dogma95, 70's & 80's cult horrors, New French Extremity, J-horrors and most of Bruce LaBruce's flicks. If you're a Python (Monty) fan you've just earned yourself a bonus token ++My reading consists mostly of non-fiction, political philosophy, history and social studies essays. My sonoric preferences are of electronic origin, distorted drone, breakcore, harsh noise, power electronics, chiptune, mashup. Dissonance is euphony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glazing at Mt. Everest peak from a rooftop while reading a book on bardo.Having an onigiri-based chillout picnic on Mt. Fuji with my roomate.Listening to my grandpa's WWII stories as a kid.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be more than happy to language swap with others, especially castellano and portuguese speaking surfers, at least give it a (usually feeble) try.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Japan, Malta, Morocco, Nepal, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay
