Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never had a bad experience with cs. It is a great way to meet really open, friendly and interesting people ... My times abroad would be a lot less rich without it.

Interests

Love to hike, bike, climb, ski or anything to do with mountains. I enjoy reading, writing and watching films, going to the theatre, opera, concerts. I like learning new languages ( my current focus is french) and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Mostly everything.. I'd say the only music I'm adverse to would be heavy metal and country but from what I've learned from life... I shouldn't be too quick to judge.. I used to hate Turkish delight and then I went to turkey and ate amazing, delicious Turkish delight unlike anything I'd tasted before .. And was converted. So maybe it can happen with heavy metal too.

Movies:
Lawrence of Arabia, All the days before tomorrow, You've got Mail, Doctor Zhivago, The Girl on a Bridge, Tree of Life, Russian Dolls, Life is Beautiful

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting lost searching for Glacial Lakes in Turkey's Kackar Mountains and summiting a semi-mountian to see what was on the other side. There were no lakes to be seen but what we did see was a breathtaking 360 degree view of the snow-capped range stretching out of sight with the jagged, grand teton-esque Mont Kackar and Avusor dominating the alpine valley below.
