If you call and wake me up at 3 in the morning wanting to talk, I'll probably just laugh, take a few minutes to gain full conscience, and take you up on your offer.I can slave for another hour trying to come up with a decent description of myself, but the truth is, most of it is probably going to change in a year or two anyway.So here goes. :)Hi. You can call me Vincci. But if you're in any way related to the old high school I went to back in the Philippines, then you can call me Jed. But that's a different story.I speak French. And I wish I had a British accent. I cut my hair every once in a while when I feel like it. I develop odd rituals when I have to study for exams. I love food. I love sushi. I write backwards a lot. I'm loud. I'm quiet. I like yellow lights and music and the back of the car. I like nocturnal walks, nocturnal talks and nocturnal craziness. Dubstep is good wasted music. I can be quite impulsive.My favorite people in the world say that I am crazy, but the truth is I'm a million different people from one day to the next. And yes I totally just quoted The Verve on that one. HA!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Barcelona, Paris, Hamburg, Bremen, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Aachen. I have hosted once in Roskilde.

There have been some amazing talks, walks, experiences, stories, some weird ones and some awkward ones. There have been some luxurious couches, beds, floors, sleeping mats. Some amazing food, some shitty food, some shared meals, some missed meals.

So yeah. It's bomb.

Interests

I love traveling. I used to have an unhealthy obsession with Paris. I love learning languages. I love food and I will try anything and everything. I love photography. I love good reads. I love writing. I love getting lost in music. I listen to almost every kind of music from the Beatles to Datsik (Dubstep). I love music-sharing. I love concerts. I love nocturnal car rides.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's do books first. History of Love by Nicole Krauss, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, the Harry Potter series, All Around Town by Mary Higgins Clark.

As for music, it's pretty random. I don't know a lot about specific artists, usually if you name drop I'd be able to name one or two songs because I usually don't listen to entire albums. But I listen to practically anything, from Mumford and Sons to Bon Iver, to Rage Against the Machines, to Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside, to Santogold, to Skrillex, to Die Antwoord, to Radiohead, to Incubus, to the Beatles, Knife Party, to Kanye West, to Placebo to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Beethoven, to Bach. You can ask me if this is better than that album, but I probably won't be able to give you an answer. Ha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Isole Tremiti, hiking in Savoia di Lucania, 4am hike to the top of Sasso di Castalda, impulsive trips to Paris, Copenhagen and southern Italy, jumping off a bridge in Capojale, driving home high with two awesome strangers, dancing on top of speakers in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, witnessing one of my good friends raise the most beautiful, unexpected baby girl, the people that I've met in Europe, Manila, moving to Paris, moving to Copenhagen, and counting.
