I am currently a student at the university of Stellenbosch. I study electrical and electronic engineering with computer science.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe our time on earth is limited and we should have as much fun and experiences as we can. I am very open minded to different cultures and views on life and ways of living. I believe life should be as simple as possible. We should work to live, not live to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am but a poor student. I have no house yet so I can't offer a couch, but I plan to travel a lot while being a student. Once I get a job and house I will have a couch available to all. My parents did say they might have a place available though.

Books - Fantasy is my favourite. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Sword of truth series by Terry Goodkind, books by Raymond E. Feist.
Movies - V for Vendetta, Amelie, Inception, any animation, Shutter Island, Monty Python!
Music- besides the mainstream.. Regina Spektor, Silversun Pickups, The Klaxons, Imogen Heap and lots more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experienced all of Europe on a Contiki tour this year. Many great experiences there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am studying engineering so I know a lot about electronics. I also know a lot about computer programming. I used to be a swimmer, so I could teach people to do that properly haha. I could probable teach you about South African foods and culture too.
